Assessment 2 – Disciple a church member for 7 weeks. Due Date: July 3 (Week 11) Follow the discipleship plan from Assessment 1 over 7 weeks (about 2 months), keeping a log of your own progress and the process of discipleship. The person you disciple will need to fill out an evaluation at the end of the time so please make sure they are aware of this before they begin.
Assessment 3 Due date: July 3 (Week 11) Record a video of yourself responding to the following question from a person who is early in their discipleship journey: Q: So, what’s the Bible all about anyway? Your response should consist of an overview of the Bible’s structure, narrative and major themes and be based on all nine weeks of the lectures of this unit.
Assessment 1 – Plan to undertake self-care Due Date: Friday July 31 (Week 3) With the help of a leader within the church who has experience in pastoral care, develop a 6-week plan to meet three self-care goals throughout the term.
Assessment 1 – Create a team plan for the term Due Date: Friday July 31 (Week 3) Understand and analyse your team to create a draft plan for the term. Then, collaborate with your team to revise your plan for the term.
Assessment 2 – Create a team orientation document Due Date: Friday August 28 (Week 7) Create an orientation document that can be used when inducting new team members, communicating important information about the team and any relevant team/organisational guidelines.
Assessment 2 - Knowledge Quiz. Opens: Monday, September 7 (start of Week 9) Closes: either 5 days after it is opened OR 11:55PM Friday September 25 (week 11), whichever comes first. You will find access to the quiz under the Assessment tile in Moodle. You will be given 3 attempts to score 100%. Failing to attain mark of 100% or higher will result in a Not Yet Satisfactory grade for this assessment.
Assessment 2 – Provision of care role play and reflection Due Date: Friday September 11 (Week 9) You will be given two scenarios for which you must video-record yourself role-playing the provision of care using the skills you have learnt throughout the unit. Upon completing your role-play, you must reflect on how you could improve your care provision in a real-life situation.

Due Date: Friday, September 25 (Week 11) This assessment could be complex and so students should begin working on it as early as possible. Use the Assessment 1 Assessment Document to Disciple others into the foundational beliefs, practices and ministry of their church.
Assessment 3 – Care for self and others in ministry Due Date: Friday September 25 (week 11) Execute your self-care plan and record your progress in a journal throughout the term. Provide a basic level of care to those you engage with within your church community throughout the term using the skills you have learnt in this unit. Log and reflect on your provision of care. At the end of the term, debrief with a leader in your church who has experience in pastoral care about your self-care and care throughout the term.
Assessment 3 – Execute your plan and evaluate your performance Due Date: Friday September 25 (Week 11) Execute your team plan from Assessment 1, incorporating input from your team. Record your progress in a logbook and evaluate your performance.
