Assessment 1 - Prepare and present a speech to a group of friends/mentors/class (5-15 min). Due Date: Friday February 27 (Week 5) Using the Assessment 1 Document, present to a group of at least 2 familiar people and obtain feedback from them afterwards. (You will present it again in A2, so make sure it is a message you can develop and research in greater depth.)
This will be the sixth session for the second set of electives for the Class of 2024, with the sessions devoted to devotions, sharing, guest speakers and practical applications of what has been learned in the course until now. Please remember that we will not be viewing videos at these sessions, which is a departure from previous terms. Therefore you will be responsible for watching your videos independently, with the view towards bringing any questions and discussion to the session to share if needed. Assessment 1: Identifying Quality Resources Quiz Due Date: March 13 (Week 7) Demonstrate that you understand what constitutes a quality resource for biblical interpretation purposes, that you know which one is relevant for particular tasks and how to find them.
Assessment 2 – Create a team orientation document Due Date: Friday March 13 (Week 7) Create an orientation document that can be used when inducting new team members, communicating important information about the team and any relevant team/organisational guidelines.
