Unit 1: Personal Leadership Module 1: Personal Vision and Goals; Spiritual Disciplines NOTE: Due to the highly practical nature of the assessments, you will find the learning content is heavily weighted towards the first several modules. This is designed to equip you with assessment-relevant learning in the first weeks, and you will then focus on practicing what you have learned throughout the remainder of the term.

Personal Leadership 2026 – Assessment 1
FeaturedAssessment 1: Self-Development Plan Due Date: February 13 (Week 3) You will need to participate in a ministry area with others throughout this unit, either in a small group or a ministry-based team. Follow the assessment method and use the assessment documents under the assessment tile to complete the self-evaluation (Part A), self-development (Part B), and mentor report (Part C). NOTE: You will need to find a mentor for this assessment and Assessment 2. You will need to action your self-development plan for a minimum of 6 weeks (A2), with your mentor, so you will need to engage with your mentor now and solicit their feedback on the plan before it is executed. A mentor should be a pastor or a trusted leader within your church, or someone who is further along the discipleship journey. It is generally preferable not to choose a spouse or family member, except in cases where there is no other option.
