Supporting One Another with Grace and Truth

In a culture often quick to cancel or criticise, Christians are called to a different path: to support others in truth, but always with love. Galatians 6:2 urges us to “carry each other’s burdens,” a charge that takes on new meaning in today’s world of mental health struggles, isolation, and moral confusion.

Whether comforting a friend going through a difficult time, or helping a peer make wise choices, students grounded in the Bible are empowered to act not just with kindness, but with spiritual insight. This is the essence of Christian education: shaping students who know the Word, live the Word, and share the Word with others.

Discipleship in Action

Understanding Scripture goes hand-in-hand with discipleship, walking alongside others, modelling Christ, and encouraging growth in faith. At Lifestyle College, discipleship is woven into the culture: through courses, Bible studies, service projects, and mentoring relationships, students are equipped to support and minister to others.

In a recent study session, one student shared how their understanding of Ephesians 4:29 – “Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up” – transformed the way they handled conflict online.

This ripple effect of Scripture-inspired behaviour shows the powerful impact of God’s Word in day-to-day interactions.
