Assessment 3: Prepare and present a new presentation to a group (5-15 min) of different people Due Date: Friday, January 16, 2026 Prepare, Present, Record a video and Evaluate one of the following Ministry Message types. Communion, Devotion, Altar Call Tithe Message. Your presentation’s topic and type must be different from that of assessments 1 and 2 and must be presented to a different audience.
Assessment 3 – Care for self and others in ministry Due Date: Friday January 16, 2026 Execute your self-care plan and journal your progress throughout the term. Provide a basic level of care to those you engage with within your church community throughout the term using the skills you have learnt in this unit. Log and reflect on your provision of care. At the end of the term, debrief with a leader in your church experienced pastoral care about your self-care and care throughout the term.
Assessment 2: Participate in and evaluate your effectiveness within the team Due Date: Friday January 16, 2026 Throughout the term, keep a record of your participation, the effectiveness of your participation and communication within the team. At the end of the term, provide a self–evaluation and gain a review from your team leader (or if you are leading the team from your direct supervisor) outlining your performance.

Unit 1: Personal Leadership Module 1: Personal Vision and Goals; Spiritual Disciplines NOTE: Due to the highly practical nature of the assessments, you will find the learning content is heavily weighted towards the first several modules. This is designed to equip you with assessment-relevant learning in the first weeks, and you will then focus on practicing what you have learned throughout the remainder of the term.
