Assessment 1: Self-Development Plan Due Date: February 13 (Week 3) You will need to participate in a ministry area with others throughout this unit, either in a small group or a ministry-based team. Follow the assessment method and use the assessment documents under the assessment tile to complete the self-evaluation (Part A), self-development (Part B), and mentor report (Part C). NOTE: You will need to find a mentor for this assessment and Assessment 2. You will need to action your self-development plan for a minimum of 6 weeks (A2), with your mentor, so you will need to engage with your mentor now and solicit their feedback on the plan before it is executed. A mentor should be a pastor or a trusted leader within your church, or someone who is further along the discipleship journey. It is generally preferable not to choose a spouse or family member, except in cases where there is no other option.
Assessment 1 – Create a team plan for the term Due Date: Friday February 13 (Week 3) Understand and analyse your team to create a draft plan for the term. Then, collaborate with your team to revise your plan for the term.
Assessment 1 – Plan to undertake self-care Due Date: Friday February 13 (Week 3) With the help of a leader within the church who has experience in pastoral care, develop a 6-week plan to meet three self-care goals throughout the term.
